Fred.Olsen Announces New Grand Voyages for 2016

Fred.Olsen Cruise Lines has revealed its brand new Grand Voyages 2016 brochure, which contains two extraordinary worldwide cruises, both of which will depart from Southampton in January 2016. The two new voyages combined will visit a total of 70 ports in 40 different countries across the world, including a number of maiden ports, never previously included within any of the line’s wide range of itineraries.

The first of these epic voyages will see Fred.Olsen’s Boudicca embark on a 76 night ‘Around Africa and the Indian Ocean’ cruise, departing from Southampton on 5th January 2016. The ship will enjoy her first-ever stay in the ports of Luanda in Angola and Maputo in Mozambique, as well as a stop on the beautiful African island of Zanzibar.

Guests will also spend time in other spectacular ports, including Leixoes, Funchal (pictured right) and Tenerife Funchal, Madeirabefore setting sail to Africa, where they will spend time in ports across Cape Verde, Gambia, Namibia, South Africa, Madagascar, Tanzania and Kenya, offering travellers the perfect opportunity to observe a plethora of incredible wildlife and areas of stunning natural beauty across the continent. Boudicca will then venture across the Indian Ocean to the idyllic Seychelles archipelago, before arriving in a number of amazing Middle Eastern destinations such as Salalah, Aqaba and Sharm el-Sheikh.  On her way back to Southampton, Boudicca will also visit marvellous the ports of Crete, Valletta, Algiers and Cadiz, from which passengers can travel to the vibrant Spanish city of Seville.

On the 8th January 2016, the Black Watch will set sail from Southampton on her new epic Grand Voyage – a 115 night ‘Around the World with the South Pacific’ sailing. The ship will sail into a wide range of worldwide destinations, including her first-ever stop in the Indian port of Tuticorin.

Bora BoraBlack Watch will first call in the Azores, before sailing to Caribbean to enjoy stays in Barbados, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines and Aruba. She will then voyage across South America to the Panama Canal, before moving on to the South Pacific, visiting Bora Bora (pictured left), Fiji and the Cook Islands amongst many other picturesque and sun-drenched exotic island destinations. This incredible itinerary will also include stops in destinations along the coastlines of Australia as well as the Far and Middle East before cruising back to Southampton via Valletta and Gibraltar.
