As we get to the start of the school summer holidays (some lucky children might be off already…), chances are you’ve already organised your own family holiday for the summer, if you haven’t already been away (if you haven’t, get yourself over to our main site and take a look at the last minute deals – but be quick, these really don’t have much space left).
Yet if you haven’t sorted anything out, or perhaps you’re one of those who just loves a holiday and you want more, then maybe consider thinking about a cruise during the first half-term of next year. There are some great options still available, and at prices that are generally lower than the peak summer you can often grab a relative bargain for a time when the kids are out of school.
Most half-term dates in the country are around the end of October, which is a fantastic time of the year to cruise. The weather in the Mediterranean is still enjoyable, and without a doubt more pleasant than you’ll enjoy in the UK, while the Caribbean season is just starting to really ramp up with plenty of options for your cruise line, ship and duration.
There are a number of mini cruises available around this time if that’s the kind of holiday you’d prefer, as well as plenty of longer duration voyages for a week or much more, with a cruise line to suit everyone – particularly if you want a fun-packed family break.
Give our Cruise Concierge team a call if you want to know more about our half-term cruises, and book yourself an escape before winter starts to kick in.
