I don’t want formal or smart dining. What is the best ship to go on?

Most of the major cruise lines offer a casual dress option when it comes to dining, though the definition of informal dining does vary depending on who you travel with. For some lines, informal dining means slacks and smart shirts for men and pants and blouse for women, for others it’s fine to dress in smart jeans and a collared sports shirt. One of the lines which offers a relaxed approach when it comes to dressing for dinner is Norwegian Cruise Line, which operates a casual dress code where smart jeans are permitted in the dining rooms and swimwear at the outdoor and buffet restaurants, providing  you wear a cover-up too.  There a lot of casual dress options on-board Disney Cruise Line’s vessels, providing you don’t wear shorts or swimwear for dinner and you’re also permitted to wear smart jeans and collared sports shirts for dinner if you travel with Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and P&O Cruises.
