With new ships, amplifications and private islands all filling our newsfeeds, there’s plenty of news to share for Royal Caribbean. Here are just some of the cruise line’s latest highlights.

New Island Selected For Perfect Day Collection

Royal Caribbean has revealed it’s adding a new destination to the Perfect Day Collection – Lelepa, Vanuatu, situated northeast of Brisbane, Australia. The cruise line has advised that the island will be built sustainably, with features in place to safeguard the island’s ecosystems.

Royal Caribbean President and CEO, Michael Bayley said that the project will, “showcase the distinct natural ecological beauty and diverse local culture of the island nation as well as provide employment and education opportunities.” He continues:

“Anyone who has encountered the tremendous natural beauty of Lelepa can understand why it is the perfect setting for ‘Perfect Day […] Our guests who travel to the South Pacific are seeking authentic adventures and genuine relaxation, and they will find both here.”

The launch is a result of the cruise line teaming up with the Funky Buddha Brewery to create an exclusive beer.

The beer is tropical ale with mango and guava flavour and offers a 4.5% alc/vol ratio. It will be packaged in 335ml cans with different labels, each highlighting different areas of Perfect Day at CocoCay.
