Looking forward to 2015 with Cruise118.com

Quantum of the Seas

Whether you’re a regular visitor to our blog pages or not, it will come as no surprise to you that January is always an extremely popular time when it comes to booking cruises. With a whole new year ahead of us, there are always new places for us to discover and new experiences to be had but 2015 is looking like an even more exciting year to cruise thanks to some pretty big (in every sense) developments.

New ships for 2015

There was certainly plenty of excitement when P&O Cruises first announced their plans to launch their first new ship in five years and as soon as we caught sight of the first preview pictures of her spectacular Union Flag-emblazoned hull, we knew we were going to be in for something special. The line’s largest vessel will boast stylish design, along with one of the cruise world’s most innovative and exciting dining experiences thanks to the Food Heroes, including James Marti, Marco Pierre White and Atul Kochar. There’s also some incredible entertainment to enjoy in a wide choice of venues, a high street shopping experience and some seriously bespoke beers available at the bar.

Royal Caribbean’s feature-packed Anthem of the Seas is another spectacular ship set to debut in 2015. Sharing all the incredible features of her sister Quantum, she’ll offer a host of Mediterranean and European sailings from Southampton with a world of dining choices and a huge choice of family-friendly entertainment. If you’ve ever wanted to skydive at sea, be served by a robotic bartender or enjoy a birds-eye view of the ocean from 300 feet up, she’s your ship. If you’re a Norwegian Cruise Line fan, you’ll be pleased to know that 2015 also sees the debut of the Norwegian Escape. Featuring an industry first Waterfront Promenade, a fabulous sports complex and an Aqua Park, she’ll be offering a sun-packed selection of voyages from Miami around the Caribbean.
