Find fun for all the family on a Royal Caribbean cruise

Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean specialises in providing fun-filled and family-friendly voyages aboard some of the most innovative and ground-breaking ships at sea, not only offering a host of incredible activities and facilities for kids and big kids alike to enjoy, but also plenty for those who simply want to take time out to simply relax on-board. This blog will take a look at what you will find on-board a Royal Caribbean ship for both kids and adults.

Kids

Most of the facilities you’ll find aboard Royal Caribbean’s fleet of feature-packed ships are open to people of all ages, but there are some activities available exclusively to younger travellers, from toddlers to teens and everyone inbetween.

Royal Caribbean’s Adventure Ocean Youth Program is sure to keep the kids thoroughly entertained during their time at sea. This exciting program offers a wealth of fun and educational activities for cruisers aged between three and 17.  Even the youngest guests and their parents or guardians are provided for with fantastic Fisher-Price Playgroups with interactive sessions for children aged six to 36 months developed by early childhood experts at Fisher-Price.

Adults

Sometimes you might just want to relax and take a quiet break whilst at sea with Royal Caribbean, which is why the line also provides plenty of soothing activities for adults to enjoy on-board. You could visit the on-board solarium, sauna or spa and indulge in a rejuvenating Vitality programme, take a walk through the open-air Central park, home to over 12,000 live plants, or spend a few hours in the fitness centre or on the jogging track to work up a sweat – the choice is yours! There are also plenty of exciting bars and lounges on-board, include the incredible Bionic Bar to be found on the line’s Quantum Class ships, where robotic bartenders will mix your favourite cocktail.

Something for everyone

While Royal Caribbean offers several on-board facilities and activities exclusively for either children or adults, the majority of the line’s ship features are open for everyone to enjoy. From the on-board swimming pools, water parks, rock climbing walls and bungee swings, to innovative new features including zip lines, dodgems and skydiving simulators, guests of all ages will be truly spoiled for choice when they set sail with Royal Caribbean.
