Majestic Princess to debut new livery

Majestic Princess

Princess Cruises’ distinctive logo has long been one of the most notable ones to grace the oceans of the world and it’s set to feature a whole lot more prominently on the line’s entire fleet over the coming years, with the forthcoming Majestic Princess to be the first ship to debut the impressive new hull art, featuring the cruise line’s famous logo.

The sister ship to Royal and Regal Princess is due to set sail next summer and will be the first ship purpose-built for China. She recently passed a milestone in her construction when she was floated out of her dock at the Italian Fincantieri shipyard, to the accompaniment of a traditional ceremony marking the significant early step in her life at sea, which involves the cutting of the cord which marks the flow of sea water into the ship’s dock.

The spectacular ship will boast many of the much-loved features of her sister ships, including the celebrated SeaWalk which features a glass-bottomed walkway which extends 28 feet beyond the ship, the Princess Live! Interactive studio and the show-stopping central atrium, which as well as being a real feast for the eyes, serves as the ship’s social hub.

While we admit you’ll have to wait until 2017 to see the brand-new livery for yourself, you’ll be pleased to know that we have a great selection of Princess Cruises deals available, whether you want to set sail in 2016 or 2017.
