Royal Caribbean has announced that Oasis of the Seas will set sail from New York City for the first time during the 2020/2021 cruise season.
New York welcomes Oasis Class ship
As part of the cruise line’s 2021/2021 deployment plans, it will showcase a fleet of seven ships which have emerged from its Royal Amplified modernisation program, which launched this year.
Oasis of the Seas will offer a selection of new experiences for guests to enjoy, with seven-night Caribbean itineraries including a day at Royal Caribbean’s exclusive, private island destination – Perfect Day at CocoCay, the Bahamas. The ship will also be the first in its class to sail from the Northeast.
Royal Caribbean’s 2020 itineraries show Oasis of the Seas arriving in Cape Liberty ie May and staying through October, offering a selection of sailings with ports of call including Nassau and Miami.

Perfect Day at CocoCay
Perfect Day at CocoCay is a destination which will allow guests to relax, thrill and chill, all on the same day. Take on the tallest waterslide in North America, take a ride in a helium balloon at 450 feet high, or enjoy a drink at the swim-up bar in the Bahamas’ largest freshwater pool.
Only available with Royal Caribbean. Perfect Day at CocoCay is the ideal beach getaway. For thrills, visit Daredevil’s Peak, the tallest slide in North America and brave the largest wave pool in the Caribbean at Thrill Waterpark.
Switch on relaxation mode at Chill Island, home to tropical waters and powdery white sands as well as the first overwater cabanas in The Bahamas. The Oasis Lagoon also offers a swim-up bar – perfect for ending the day in serene surroundings.
