P&O Cruises’ top maiden calls in 2015

P&O Cruises' top maiden calls in 2015

P&O Cruises has unveiled a host of exciting maiden calls to which it will be cruising from 2015. The line will be introducing a total of 28 maiden ports next year across Northern Europe and the Mediterranean as well as North and South America. This blog will take a look at four of our favourites and hopefully inspire you to set sail to fascinating new destinations with P&O in 2015.

Fredrikstad

Fredrikstad, Norway

Fredrikstad is a wonderfully preserved fortress town on the coast of Norway, home to a quaint Old Town, where winding cobbled streets feature stunning 17th century architecture alongside a number of historic drawbridges, moats and gates. The town also boasts a thriving waterfront and beautiful coastal scenery.

Bonifacio

Bonifacio, Corsica

Perched on the spectacular French Island of Corsica in the Mediterranean Sea, Bonifacio is a historic and enchanting port, where ancient buildings and narrow streets create a unique and captivating ambience – complemented perfectly by a warm Mediterranean climate.

Jacksonville

Jacksonville, USA

Located on the coast of Florida, Jacksonville is a joy to explore, from its bustling downtown districts where visitors will find a plethora of boutique shops and dining experiences to its incredible collection of parks and gardens, which cover over 80,000 acres of land.

Belem

Belem, Brazil

Belem can be found at the mouth of the Amazon River in Brazil and as such, has an abundance of natural beauty to appreciate. The city also boasts a selection of intriguing colonial structures alongside many excellent shops, bars and restaurants.

This blog offers just a small sample of P&O Cruises’ latest ports of call for 2015 and beyond. To find out where else the line will be venturing next year and book your suite or stateroom on-board, call our expert Cruise Concierge team on 0808 1234 118.
