P&O Cruises has announced that they will be expanding their adult-only fleet next year, following the refurbishment of Aurora. The ship will undergo a refit in March 2019 and join Arcadia and Oriana as a ship exclusively for adults when she emerges.
Aurora focuses on relaxation and serenity
As of April 2018, Aurora will join the adult-only fleet in offering a relaxed way of life, stylish surroundings and a variety of bars and lounges for socialising.
P&O made the decision following extensive research and guest feedback, with P&O Cruises’ Senior Vice President, Paul Ludlow, saying:
“P&O Cruises is all about choice, whether our guests want the fantastic range of activities and children’s clubs on our family-friendly ships or prefer the peace and serenity of our adult-only ships. With Aurora becoming a ship exclusively for adults, we are offering our guests even more choice which means they can choose the holiday experience that is absolutely the right one for them.”
Adult-only lifestyle with P&O
P&O Cruises’ current adult-only ships, Arcadia and Oriana, each offer relaxed interiors and laid-back atmospheres, with a hint of extravagance. Signatures features include Arcadia’s exterior glass-fronted lifts and Atul Kochar’s restaurant, Sindhu, as well as luxurious salon and spa facilities including a large hydrotherapy pool and thermal suite.
Oriana is one of the smaller ships in the fleet, elegantly combining classic design features with Art Deco touches. Her stunning Tiffany-glass ceiling and panoramic Crow’s Nest Bar make her ideal for adults looking to sail among sumptuous décor.
