Strictly takes to the seas once more

strictlycomedancingatsea

P&O Cruises has enjoyed a lasting partnership with Strictly Come Dancing for a number of years now, and it’s set to continue with a series of themed holidays lined up to take to the dance floor in 2016.

On every Strictly sailing, passengers can look forward to seeing stars from the show in action and this year is no different, with Giovanni Pernice, Joanne Clifton, Karen and Kevin Clifton, Janette Manara and Aijaz Skorjanec all set to take the dance floor by storm. Each of the Strictly sailings will not only see performances from the dancers, but also on-board interviews and the chance for passengers to meet and greet their favourite dancing stars.

You won’t have long to wait to strut your stuff, as the first Strictly Come Dancing themed cruise is a 14 night Canary Islands voyage on April 22, with Craig Revel Horwood casting his ever-critical eye over the performances of Joanne Clifton, Giovanni Pernice and Karen and Kevin Clifton.

Next up is a May 16 sailing, again judged by Revel Horwood and again visiting the Canaries, this time for 13 nights. Taking to the floor on this cruise will be Karen and Kevin Clifton, Janette Manrara and Aljaz Skorjanec.

The third Strictly sailing is also a 13-night Canaries escape, this time on June 5 and again, Revel Horwood is back to induce some spirited audience reactions. The dancers on this cruise must be real gluttons for punishment, as the voyage will feature the same line up as the May sailing.

Anton Du Beke will be giving Craig at least some of the summer to himself as he takes hold of the judging reins for the July 22 Strictly cruise, this time taking 14 nights to explore the Mediterranean. There’s a new line-up on this cruise too, with Ian Waite, Natalie Lowe, Pasha Kovalev and Anya Garnis showing what they’ve got.

Of course, there’s plenty of opportunity to take to the floor whichever P&O Cruise you decide to sail on, so take a look at what we have available, then call us today to book your place on-board.
