With Norwegian Epic, NCL are reinventing their Freestyle Cruising concept on a grand scale with an astonishing variety of choice. She has a choice of 14 exciting restaurants from a supper club to a sushi bar and has 18 bars and lounges. Taking family fun to new heights this epic ship features NCL’s first Aqua Park complete with a choice of three multi-story water slides of varying thrill factors including the 200-ft long Epic Plunge. She also features a 33-foot extreme rock climbing wall and the first ever rappelling wall at sea plus six bowling lanes in two venues, an all-new two-storey Sports Complex with squash court and boxercise ring, a batting cage, a two-story Wii screen and an expanded kids program with more age-appropriate activities than ever before. Entertainment venues are all over the ship with exclusive performances from such acts as the Blue Man Group, Cirque Dreams and The Second City Comedy Troupe.
Staterooms
In terms of accommodation the Courtyard Villas have a newly upgraded design. As well as including a separate children’s bedroom and additional bathroom, Villa guests have exclusive access to the Villas complex - two exclusive decks equipped with pool, hot tub, lounging area, private sundeck and a private lounge. The ship also includes unique new Studio accommodation similar to a hip urban London flat with guests benefiting from exclusive access to The Living Room, a shared private lounge.
Dining
With an array of dining options to choose from, you’ll be spoilt for choice on this huge ship. The main dining areas are; "The Manhattan Room" and "Taste". For casual dining "Garden Café" is an indoor buffet, "O’Sheehan’s" offers fast food, "Spice H20" is home to steak, burgers and seafood or "Pizza 24/7" delivers pizza straight to your door. Speciality Dining aboard Norwegian Epic is plentiful and diverse. For Chinese American head down to "Shanghai’s", "Le Bistro" is a French bistro, "Teppanyaki" is the on-board Japanese restaurant and for Italian food then "La Cucina" is the place for you.
Leisure
Norwegian Epic has a whole host of leisure activities on-board, whether you like to take it easy or get your heart pumping, there is something for everyone. The sports complex features a basketball court, an American style baseball cage for you to practice your swing, or you can even have a go at dodge ball. For people who aren’t afraid of heights, she has a climbing wall which reaches up to 33 feet high and there is also an enclosed climbing cage which is similar to that of a spiders-web. You will also find an aqua park on-board which includes two main pools, five hot tubs, water sprays, a wading pool and three multi-storey water slides.
Entertainment
Discover a world of outstanding shows and exclusive entertainment, as you will come to find that this ship has some of the best entertainers in the industry. "Epic Theatre" plays host to a different show each night, ranging from the world-famous "Blue Man Group" who’s colourful performances have to be seen to be believed, to the "Legends in Concert" show that pays tribute to some of the greatest artist’s in the world, and "Cirque Dreams and Dinner" is a theatrical dining acrobatics show. "Headliners" is home to comedy sketches and karaoke, or perhaps you would like to "rock out" in your own stateroom, and with a Gibson Guitar hiring service, private amp and headphones, you can do just that. As there are too many bars to mention, here are just a few that you can expect aboard Norwegian Epic. "H20" is an adult only Ibiza inspired nightclub where you can dance the night away under the stars, "Bliss" is a stylish cocktail lounge, "Shakers Martini Bar" offers a James Bond style theme and "Svedka Ice Bar" is a bar made completely out of ice, from the walls to the floor.

You certainly won’t be missed once the young’uns step into their own gigantic play area dedicated to the children and the teens.
