There are four restaurants onboard including an Anytime dining room, Traditional dining room, a speciality Italian restaurant and a Steakhouse restaurant. In addition there is a casual 24-hour buffet, pizzeria and hamburger grill plus a patisserie and ice cream bar. After dinner there is a choice of bars and lounges, plus two show lounges including a large theatre for nightly Broadway and Las Vegas-style productions. She also features a London-themed casino and nightclub. In terms of recreation she has a total of four swimming pools including one for kids and a swim-against-the-current lap pool. She also has an ocean view fitness centre, sports court, nine-hole mini-golf course, virtual golf simulators, a jogging track and a dedicated Fun Zone teens and children’s centre plus much more. For relaxation the Balinese-themed Spa offers a complete sanctuary. As yet Island Princess does not feature the "Movies Under the Stars" theatre but it is due to be added in late 2010.

Princess Cruises boasts "More balconies than any other cruise line" and Island Princess has more than 700 balcony staterooms. Infact 90% of her staterooms have ocean views making her ideal for her scenery rich itineraries in Alaska, New England and through the Panama Canal.

Dining

The two main dining rooms aboard Island Princess are "Provence Dining room" for set times and "Bordeaux Dining Room" for flexible dining, but equally serving mouth-watering dishes. For speciality dining you can choose from; "Sabatini’s" the on-board Italian restaurant, "Bayou Café & Steakhouse" and "Ultimate Balcony Dining" which is a choice of luxury cuisine delivered right to your balcony. For casual meals you can choose from; "Princess Pizza", "Afternoon tea", ’Horizon Court’ for a 24 hour buffet, "The Grill" for burgers and hot dogs, "Sundaes ice cream bar" or "24-hour room service".

Leisure

There are plenty of activities to keep you busy all day long aboard Island Princess. There are various Swimming Pools around the ship including hot tubs and there is even enough deck space for you to soak up the sun if you’d prefer. For those who like it sporty then the gym and fitness is fully equipped to offer a good work out including a swim-against-the-current lap pool to put you through your paces. If you prefer golf then Island Princess has a nine-hole putting course and virtual golf simulators, or you can play Shuffleboard and Tennis on the Sports Courts. Island Princess is home to a world-class art collection where you can go and bid on a piece of culture or the Internet Café allows you to keep in touch with family and friends back home. There are various classes and lectures available with the "ScholarShip@Sea" programme and for those who like to shop, the Boutiques section offers duty free goods.

Entertainment

Island Princess is home to a whole host of entertainment. The main theatre on-board is, "Princess Theatre" and "Universe Lounge" both provide a variety of outstanding shows and live music. "Movies under the Stars" is the on-board cinema showing the latest films in a spectacular setting, and "Explorers Lounge" is the liveliest place on the ship where you can dance until sunrise. If you fancy your hand at Blackjack, the Paris themed "Princess Casino" has everything you need for a great night of gambling. If you prefer to sit back and unwind with a cocktail then "Crooners Bar", "Churchill Lounge" and "Wheelhouse Bar" offer a welcoming atmosphere to do just that.

Relaxation

Take a whole day out to spoil yourself with a set of treatments in the "Lotus Spa". There are plenty for you to choose from such as; youth enhancing facial, aroma stone therapy, cellulite reduction programme, muscle spa ocean wrap and acupuncture If you prefer to sit in a peaceful atmosphere and read a book then the Island Princess Library is the place for you.

Family

The kids on-board Island Princess have their own dedicated area, with lots to do, see and discover, all in the care of fully trained professionals. There is an age appropriate programme from Princess Pelicans (ages 3-7), Shockwaves (ages 8-12) and Remix (ages 13-17). The young people’s section also includes an arcade full of video games, and has proved extremely popular with the teens. There are plenty of activities including; Karaoke, Board Games, Pizza Parties, and Pyjama Parties to name a few, so you can be assured that your children are having as much fun as you are aboard Island Princess.

Medical & Accessibility

There is a well-equipped medical centre on-board Island Princess, with medical supplies and the on-board doctors and nurses. If you need medical supplies then it would be advised to bring them with you for the journey. Island Princess makes every effort to accommodate for wheelchair users, with all staterooms being wheelchair friendly. The hallways are wide and there are lifts all around the decks. If you have a hearing impairment then you will be provided with a TTY kit and the theatres have assisted listening devices. The ship also provides JAWS kits to accommodate for those that are visually impaired.
