With Royal Caribbean, you can choose from a terrific range of Australia cruises, designed to showcase every aspect of this marvellous country. Among other things, Australia is of course famous for its hot and sunny climate, which is why Royal Caribbean operates Australia cruises during autumn, winter and spring months. Sydney, with its world-famous harbour, opera house and bridge is the departure port for the majority of Australia cruises, but a number of cruises across the region also depart from the port of Fremantle, near Perth on the country’s west coast.

Royal Caribbean’s 11-night round-trip Queensland cruise from Sydney is a popular choice for cruisers who want to explore the coast of north-Eastern Australia. Your first port of call upon on leaving Sydney is Newcastle, where you can enjoy a fascinating guided tour of the city to see all its historic sites or take a trip out to the beautiful Hunter Valley. Next stop is Cairns, where you’ll spend two days with the option to explore the city or heading out on an excursion to the World Heritage Rainforest escape of Kundra Village or Tjapukai Cultural Park, rich in Aboriginal heritage. From here, you’ll cruise the beautiful Coral Sea past Willis Island en route to your next port of call, Airlie Beach. Here, you’ll be able to explore the best of this lush region, from its popular beach areas and resorts to its tropical rainforest and lush countryside. Your final port of call before returning to Sydney is culturally vibrant Brisbane, Australia’s third-largest city. Here, you can explore the city’s architectural attractions old and new, take a leisurely river cruise or visit a zoo or Koala sanctuary; the choice is yours.

A seven-night Tasmania voyage winds its way Southwards then back again, along the New South Wales Coast to Australia’s southernmost territory, Tasmania. You’ll depart from Sydney to call at Newcastle before spending a day on the Tasmanian Sea en route to the island state itself and its popular port city, Hobart. Explore the city by coach, take a trip out to the beautiful countryside to sample some of the delicious local wines or take a wildlife tour, where you’ll be able to encounter some of island’s most famous inhabitants – the Tasmanian Devils. Working your way back up the coast to Sydney, you’ll stop at the lively city of Melbourne, where you’ll be able to take a tour, visit the celebrated Royal Botanic Gardens or barter for bargains at the iconic Victoria Market. You’ll arrive back in Sydney early, with plenty of time to explore the city’s iconic sights before your return journey home.
