As we approached the Ship we all looked up and saw what resembled to be a block of Flats but once we stepped on-board the Ship what a WOW factor!!

A gorgeous Chandelier suspended in the atrium, and also a huge Cinema Screen as we walked onto the Ship where we watched Englands 2nd last World Cup match… Great Atmosphere though!!

Great choice of accommodation on-board, Ranging from your basic Inside Cabin to Luxury Villas and Penthouse Suites. With the new Wave effect in the Cabins and modern appearance!

The Epic has a great selection of Restaurants, We had dinner on the first night in the Manhattan Room, the main restaurant, and Food was lovely. There is also a variety of specialty restaurants including Cagneys Steakhouse where we ate on the 2nd Night with unlimited skewered meats brought to the table until you can no longer eat anymore.

Plenty of Bars on-board the Ship including OSheegans Irish pub serving food throughout the night, The first Ice Bar at sea and even an inside and outside Night Club where you can dance into the Night under the stars!

Theres the Theatre featuring the Blue Man Group, The Casino which spreads across the majority of Deck 6, Champagne Bar, a must visit is Fat Cats for Live Jazz music!!

On-board there is loads of things to keep you occupied … a bowling alley, Climbing wall, Cinema and auditorium, swimming pools and hot tubs, kids pool and even the largest tube slide called the Epic Plunge .. and as for the Dining and Drinks on-board I never thought Id say this but theres too much choice … We Couldnt even try half the places on-board as there are so many for the duration of your holiday … What FUN we had and I will be going back !!!

School holidays the Bane of my life…. For the last few years we have been going to Gran Canaria like we always do but it was getting too much for us now we have a small family keeping the kids entertained became a full time job and we could never relax. A friend of mine said take them on the Epic. After a very short term in the Navy I vowed I would never go on a ship again after the most shocking sea sickness anyone can imagine. For the sake of the kids I thought I would risk it. What a fortuitous risk!!! The kids loved it we loved it and the fact we could eat whenever we wanted was amazing. I was also worried about formal nights but guess what….NO FORMAL NIGHTS ON THE EPIC…What finished it all off was the Blue Man Group….out of this world! Where else do you see and audience of thousands get covered in toilet paper? We laughed for days after that. I was not sick once, the ship hardly moved! We WILL be back and next time I am doing the slide!

The entertainment on board was incredible from the Blue Man Group to Cirque Dreams & Dinner an extraordinary dinner show with amazing acrobatics you really are spoilt for choice. I would definitely cruise again on the Epic.

Just been on the Norwegian Epic… AMAZING ship! Sailed from Miami and did the Caribbean. The ship is like a floating resort with so much to do. Our cabin was great, and it was lovely to wake up each morning to the sun rising over the Caribbean Sea. The best excursion we did was to walk on the bottom of the sea bed!!! I will never forget that!!! Food is great, crew are really friendly and helpful. I still think we didnt manage to see all the ship, so will have to go back. Oh well!

This was our first cruise ever and we really enjoyed our time on the Norwegian Epic. We weren’t really sure what to do when we first got on the ship as we’ve never cruised before, but all the staff were very friendly and helpful and pointed us in the right direction. The room was quite small but we weren’t expecting anything huge, and with it only being the 2 of us it didn’t really matter. The buffet was great and we never had to eat the same thing twice, there was no need to go to the speciality restaurants as the buffet had so many different choices. There were lots of different activities on the ship however we just wanted to spend most our time relaxing by the pool. Overall we had a great holiday and are currently planning our next cruise with NCL!

Cruised on the Norwegian Epic last year for 5 nights and wished it had been longer, it was the first time I had cruised on a freestyle cruise and was a little unsure if it would live up to the same standards of the other cruises I had been on, I was pleasantly surprised at the freestyle dinning be turned up at different times throughout our cruise and never had to wait for a table, the service and food was as good as any other cruise I have been on, Entertainment was fantastic, different bars offering a range of entertainment, We went to see the Blue Man Group which was fantastic and cost around £40 each to see in Florida and it was free to see on the cruise, The pool slides were great and plenty of sunbeds to lounge on and watch the children on them, There was also quitter pool areas if you wanted to relax. Plenty of speciality restaurants to choose from ranging from seafood to steak, sushi Asian and plenty more. A fantastic cruise with great entertainment and flexibility to eat in the restaurant whenever you want.

What an absolutely fantastic time we had, at first we were a wee bit concerned that the ship might have been a bit to big for us but our kids kinda choose the holidays we go on and when they read the information about what was in it for them – they sold us the holiday. We had a Stateroom in the haven which was fantastic, not only did we have our own private area but we could use some of the facilities like the spa for a bit of pampering in the knowledge that the kids wouldn’t be bored. The Epic, and it was epic was fantastic, and having booked our room in the Haven gave us two bedrooms and two bathrooms – fabulous – will be going again.

WOW what an amazing ship and that sums up the review of the ship from my 12 year old daughter .I knew the minute we stepped on the unbelievably large Norwegian Epic that from the look on the faces of my 2 young daughters that this was going to be an fantastic cruise holiday. The first thing we did was head for the pool area and slides I was so glad that the concierge at cruise 118 had advised that we take our swimwear in a separate bag as the suitcases would arrive in our cabin a little bit later on ,an excellent tip as I can imagine saying to my girls that we would have to wait a couple of hours before we hit the pools would not have gone down well ,I actually do not know who was more excited when we got to the pool deck my husband or the kids when they saw the extent of the slides .I was thrilled as it meant I could relax for an hour in the wonderful hot tub taking in the warm summer heat and letting the stress and strains disappear. After an afternoon at the pool we headed to see the kids clubs ,we all love Nickelodeon in our house so seeing SpongeBob made us all smile as we enrolled for the navigators club (children’s club for children aged 10-12) . We had booked a Family mini suite which was wonderful very spacious and we loved the curvy walls, as a family this met our needs and was very luxurious. The balcony really enhanced our trip as we had late nights every night that we could enjoy breakfast sat outside without rushing to the dining room.

In the evening we took turns in choosing a restaurant as the dining options were endless ,my favourite was the French restaurant the service was superb and the food to die for. The children most days ate in the buffet restaurant as they wanted to go to children’s club to be with the new friends leaving time for us to enjoy a leisurely evening meal what bliss.

Evening entertainment was so varied we enjoyed the comedy club a couple of evenings also as a family we visited the theatre 3 times during the 7 nights we were on board this was just top class and the productions spectacular. My favourite evening was spent watching the strange but fantastic Blue man group which is a must on this ship.

On top of everything else on this wonderful cruise ship we also found time much to the reluctance of the children and dare I say it my husband to visit Romantic Rome and Florence 2 destinations I have always wanted to visit .

So thank you Cruise 118 you met my family’s needs 100 %.

WOW!WOW!WOW! This was the first time I have experience a cruise and I just cannot believe how amazing it was and such value for money, there was so much variety- we tried as many of the restauarants as we could fit in and every single meal was memorable and delicious. At night there was just so much to do, we saw Blue Man group which was phenomenal, we spent an evening in the comedy club and laughed until we cried, We danced the night away at howl at the moon- The duelling pianos were awesome!

Recommend it to anybody and everybody- Norwegian Epic was my dream holiday. I cannot wait to go again!

Our family holiday this summer on the Epic was wonderful! We had our 2 teenagers with us and we hardly saw them as there was just so much for them to do. The freedom dining especially suited well being in a family- we would never get the kids to sit down at set dining times like with the other companies! We didn’t go too far only going to the Med with it being our first time and this is the only regret. I would go with NCL next time without a doubt! So much for the kids and adults to do, lovely accommodation, lots of choices of restaurants so we each had a say in where to eat each night and we just had a brilliant overall holiday.

As a single traveller, I really enjoyed myself on the NCL Epic, the staff on board where so friendly and couldn’t do enough for me. I thought the food was superb and the freestyle dining was brilliant, as it meant I didn’t have to rush back after a day in port – I could take my time and have a nice informal and relaxing meal. I made a lot of new friends whilst on my Med Cruise – the ship layout was great and everywhere was so clean, bright and airy. Can’t wait to cruise NCL again!

We have just came off the new ship with NCL the Norwegian Epic and what can I saw amazing. The ship is nothing like I have seen before and absolutely breathing taken when you see it for the first time. We overall had the best cruise experience and this is mainly down to the way NCL operate onboard. The freestyle dining and choice of venues is great, just a plenty we did not get to sample them all but gives us an excuse to book again. The service was excellent and the staff were so helpful and friendly. We loved the ice bar and the entertainment in the evening was the best I have ever seen. Really looking forward to boarding Epic again soon, hopefully!!

After recently cruising onboard the Norwegian Epic, I wanted to leave my honest feedback for other cruisers. I have cruised over 15 times over years with both children, grandchildren and friends with a variety of cruise lines. This cruise was by far the best I’ve been on. It was modern, trendy, well furnished, the service was fantastic, the food was varied and delicious! 6 of us travelled on this cruise, myself and my husband who are both nearly 70, my daughter, her husband and two teenage children. Each and every one of us enjoyed this cruise. there was something for us all weather it be a light dinner and the Comedy Club for the evening, or a perfect Italian in La Cucina. By far, my favourite evening was the night spent at the Cirque Dreams in the Spiegel Tent. It was marvellous, brought us all together and we all thoroughly enjoyed the show (I wont give it away!). I have to say, NCL staff are doing a brilliant job on this ship and I cant see any form of cruises who wouldn’t enjoy it.

We wanted to let you all know about our wonderful cruise we have returned from onboard the Norwegian Epic. This was our 8th cruise and our 1st with NCL and we were very impressed. The ship is amazing, we especially enjoyed their gym facilities and the ice bar was great. The food onboard was of an exceptional standard in all the venues we dined in, there is so much choice. We had a balcony stateroom was very nice and spacious. The itinerary was Eastern Med which was very interesting and the tours we booked with NCL were very well organised. The staff onboard were very helpful and always pleasant. We would definitely recommend cruising with NCL and we will definitely be booking again!

The family cruise we had on the Norwegian Epic was fantastic. The kids absolutely loved Dolphins club. We had to drag them away from Wii tournaments, they became so competitive. They were able to spend time with other kids their own age so they had a fantastic time. And as parents we were very relaxed with the children staying there. The staff were great, friendly and very professional. We were able to do our own thing which was great. I spent a lot of time in the Mandara Spa (and a lot of money!) but it was worth every single penny. The treatments were out of this world and I would definitely recommend to anybody looking to relax. My husband really took to the climbing wall. I had to cope with the kids being competitive at Dolphins club and my husband being competitive on the rock climbing wall; now you can see why I spent so much time in the Spa. We did come together for our meals which were great. The food in Taste was brilliant. Very varied and very tasty. A wonderful holiday, ticked all of our boxes (which we have never been able to say from a land based holiday.)

I recently went on the Norwegian Epic and had the time of my life! I was in one of the new solo studios which is just perfect for me as I travel alone. It was so lovely to be able to socialise with other single passengers in the lounge which is dedicated to solo travellers. I have made a number of friends and may travel with them this year! The entertainment aboard this ship is unbelievable! Don’t miss the Blue Man Group, a fantastic show. Also, the food, beautiful. Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the freestyle dining. Sometimes it’s a pain to get all dressed up every night, so it was a real treat to be able to not worry too much about what I was wearing. All in all a wonderful cruise which I will repeat.

We cruised on the Norwegian Epic in July, it was our first cruise, and so obviously we weren’t 100% sure what to expect. As soon we got on the ship we found all the staff extremely helpful and accommodating. We were amazed by the choice of things to do onboard, 17 dining options, and a wide range of things to do by way of activities, meant the cruise was every bit as enjoyable for us, as it was for our two young children. It definitely made us want to cruise again, and we have already booked for the summer!

We travelled with NCL for the 1st time last summer, and loved them so much we’re going again this summer! The informal & relaxing environment on the ship was perfect for our busy family, it meant we could eat at whatever time we wanted and the informal dress code was great for the kids. The NCL Epic had fantastic facilities for the children and even our tricky teenager was catered for. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and it meant the world to us that they remembered it was our youngest birthday whilst onboard. A truly fantastic cruise enjoyed by all the family.

Wow, what an amazing ship, my kids loved it. There is so much for them to do they didn’t pester me once or come to me saying “Mum I’m bored”.

The Video arcade, and the WII wall were a massive hit. Good on you Norwegian Cruise line.

I liked the pool area, and even dared myself to go on the Plunge….200ft slide, awesome.

The food was exceptional, Asian, French, Italian, Seafood anything you fancied was probably on offer. Time to diet I think???

There are plenty of lounges in the evening to keep people entertained. From Broadway style shows to a Piano Bar to a bustling Casino it never stops. It does feel like I’ve been around the world in only 7 days!!!

When I stepped foot on this ship I was totally blown away. It was our first cruise and we did not know what to expect. Our Cruise Concierge Kevin advised us that we would not be disappointed and how right was he!!

The kids Loved the Waterpark on board in fact we couldn’t keep them off the waterslides. We went bowling twice as a family and thoroughly enjoyed the Blue Man show in the theatre. The fact that we didn’t need posh clothes and that we could eat when we wanted has changed our perceptions of cruise holidays. We have had a Wonderful weeks family holiday and will definitely be back, infact our friends want to come too!

The room was quite small but we weren’t expecting anything huge, and with it only being the 2 of us it didn’t really matter. The buffet was great and we never had to eat the same thing twice, there was no need to go to the speciality restaurants as the buffet had so many different choices.
