Viking Ocean Cruise Ships

You can look forward to a truly unforgettable voyage when you choose the award-winning Viking Ocean Cruises, as you sail on an intimate state-of-the-art ship, enjoy first class service and amenities on a truly rewarding itinerary.

Viking Ocean Cruises is the newest line to take to the oceans, using its years of expertise in the river cruise market to build a fleet of ocean-going ships which offer cruisers the ultimate experience at sea, as they travel from one port to the next in stylish and intimate surroundings shared by no more than 930 guests.

Viking Ocean Cruises ships explore those most popular of cruise destinations the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, as well as the captivating regions of Northern Europe, including the line’s beautiful homeland. The destination is always at the heart of every Viking Ocean Cruises sailing, with hand-picked itineraries carefully crafted so that you enjoy the best experience possible and visit a number of ports not readily accessible by many larger cruise ships.

Each Viking Ocean Cruises ship is designed to offer the best cruising experience possible, with an impressive choice of accommodations to suit every need and budget. Whichever room you choose, you’ll enjoy your own view of the ocean as you sail from the comfort of your own balcony and there is a fantastic choice of amenities to help make your cruise even more enjoyable.

Viking Jupiter

The sixth ship in the Viking Ocean fleet will set sail in Febuary 2019. As with all Viking Ocean sailings, cruises on this ship will focus more on the destinations that the ship visits than the ship itself. Expect long stays in port and overnight stays in the best destinations, with sea days only when necessary. Viking Jupiter will sail a variety of North Europe and Mediterranean itineraries, as well as two new itineraries in South America.

Viking Orion

The fifth ship from Viking Ocean is almost identical to all its predecessors, offering space for 930 guests. It will also focus on the destinations with much of the time spent in port rather than at sea.

Viking Sun

Just like it's predecessors, Viking Sun offers a home-away-from-home feel with neutral decor and a balcony for every stateroom. Viking listened to demand from passengers when building this ship, and as a result, it has more in-stateroom storage space (ideal for world cruises) as well as an expanded fitness facility.

Viking Sky

Whether you are relaxing with a drink in the serene surroundings of the Wintergarden or with a book in the Library, or taking to the Infinity Pool with its state-of-the-art retractable roof or enjoying a night time movie under the stars, you can be assured of an unforgettable voyage on-board Viking Sky.

Viking Sea

Viking Sea is the second ship in the Viking Ocean Cruises fleet. A dedicated crew of 465 ensure a satisfying staff to guest ratio of 1:2. This expertly-designed vessel will boast the same choice of spacious accommodations as her sister ships and an impressive choice of stylish public areas too. Perhaps you’ll enjoy a rustic Mediterranean delight in Manfredi’s Italian Restaurant or enjoy a live cooking demonstration in the World Café? By night, why not take in a performance or even one of the latest cinematic releases in the main theatre?

Viking Star

Setting sail in 2015, Viking Star was the first Viking Ocean Cruises ship to take to the oceans, heralding a new era in cruising and marking the arrival of the world’s newest cruise line with the accolade of Best New Ocean Ship, awarded by the respected Cruise Critic.

At just over 745 feet long, Viking Star is an intimate vessel, catering to just 930 passengers and offering them the choice of 465 staterooms, each with its own veranda. As well as custom-designed accommodations, Viking Star features a wealth of spacious and stylish public areas, designed to complement and enhance your cruise experience.

The Aquavit Terrace is the natural place to relax and take in the views at sea, offering both plenty of space and a commanding view of the ocean as you relax with a drink or a snack. The Explorer’s Lounge is the perfect place on-board to enjoy the views from inside your ship, offering comfortable sofa seating and panoramic views and of course, a real sense of style. The Living Room is a more intimate space in which to relax but still one which ensures that an ocean view is only a glance away. Dinner is served in The Restaurant, another venue which offers enjoyable vistas, while the The Spa is always available for you to enjoy a wealth of wellness wonders.
