Rhodes Cruises

Rhodes is loved for its fascinating past, not to mention its glistening sandy beaches and stunning scenery. Whilst you're here, venture inside the ancient walls of the citadel and discover the old city and its historic citys… The pretty village of Lindos, with its mixture of Gothic, Byzantine, Greek and Middle Eastern architecture, is well worth a visit too. And, just 12 kilometres outside Rhodes Town is ‘Filerimos Hill', which offers magnificent views of the surrounding area and a selection of historical buildings. Whatever you choose to do, you are sure to have a fabulous time in this fascinating city.

With a superb selection of jewellery, handmade lace, ceramics and leather goods, Rhodes is a wonderful place to shop – particularly in the Old Town. Local thimati honey is another popular purchase in Rhodes and can be bought in the villages of ‘Siana' and ‘Vathi'. And in the town of Rhodes there are many outlets where you can purchase local wines and Greek olive oil.

The local currency is the Euro. Rhodes is 2 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT +2).
