Azamara Quest Reviews

A small ship with a Big Heart. We just loved it the Crew were so friendly and worked so hard, nothing was too much trouble for us. Bong, our Cabin steward even went as far as to make sure there was fresh slices of Lemon in the fridge for my wife as she likes a piece in a glass of water.

Not many cruise lines spend more than a day in port but we certainly did. We had an amazing time in Barcelona and we were able to come and go at our leisure from the ship. We werent rushed at all.

Azamara included in our holiday all our soft drinks, and Wine with our meals. Yes included!!! We couldnt believe it as we are not big drinkers but do like a glass of Chablis with dinner and they did not disappoint. The wine was not cheap plonk which thought it might be but very tasty wine, and the Sommelier was well trained too! The wines always seemed to work well with the food, no matter what we chose.

Our cabin was perfectly formed, we had a nice balcony which was wonderful first thing in the morning to take our first cup of coffee.

Something that , made all the difference to us was the inclusion of all the tips to the crew. We didnt have to worry about who and how much to tip at the end of the cruise. It made things so much easier!

I understand that Azamara are going All inclusive next year. It boggles me how they can do this without charging more but they seem to know what they are doing. We certainly will be back, in fact my Husband is already looking at them on the Cruise 118 website!

We have just returned form the Azamara Quest! What a lovely Little ship, Service was attentive and the Wines kept flowing at dinner. Couldn’t fault it! Looking forward to seeing the ship again now that it has been refurbished, we are going back in July in the Med! All Inclusive too which helps the back pocket. My chums at the club are also going to give this Line a try as we cant stop praising them enough! We liked the longer stays in ports as we find all to often that there is never enough time to truly see what you want to see on some cruises.

We’ve just got back off the Azamara Quest, and it was FABULOUS! The ship has just come out of refurbishment and is like a brand new boutique hotel! All the facilities are more or less the same, everything just has a fresh feeling about it. We went with another couple this time and I found the dining was my favourite part. The restaurant on deck 5, although large, wasn’t too noisy, the set out was perfect for those who like a good chat over an evening meal, and the service was very quick and efficient. I’m itching to get on my next cruise with Azamara, they are perfect if you are looking for something just a little bit different.

Got back a few weeks ago, we have been on Azamara before and enjoyed it, we enjoyed it this time but the ship looks a little tired. However we know its being refurbished and upgraded for the new year and going all inclusive so will be even better. Will try Journey next time.

My first impressions as always excitement to embark a ship for an entertaining holiday. Great to board a ship at a Scottish destination Edinburgh without the hassle of airport procedures.

Boarding was simply professionally quick and easy.

All food and service was of an exceptional high standard some of the best of any cruise ship I've been on.

The ship although a little dated and in some parts in need of a refit to keep up to date with some of its competition, still had magic and charm and with being smaller than most other ships, always kept that personal touch . We were always able to escape the crowds too.

All entertainment superb, with great emphasis on adults only. Truly a wonderful relaxing cruise, would benefit from upgrading, then we would definitely return on board.

We have just returned from the Azamara Quest – we’ve sailed with them twice before, but this time was extra special. The dining & service was out of this world, and her recent refurbishment meant that our balcony stateroom was well appointed. We love the open and smart casual dining, its really easy for us and gives us the flexibility after a busy day sightseeing! We like the spacious feel of the ship and the Prime Speciality dining is definitely a must! Me and my husband are already looking forward to next year’s holiday with Azamara

I have just returned from doing a lovely 9 night Baltic cruise on the Azamara Quest. Me and my wife wanted a bit more luxury than Royal Caribbean this time as we had not been on holiday for a year. I found the size of the ship meant that you got a more personal and tentative service from the crew on board. The meals on board were exquisite and the service we received was exceptional. We stayed in a club veranda stateroom which was lovely and modern and had a private sitting area with balcony, refrigerator and mini bar ( I loved that). With ease of mind we could put our belongings in our in room safe which was another brilliant add on extra to the cabin. When me and my wife go away we always love to unwind and relax and we could do just that with the complimentary 24 hour room service which was fantastic. There was also a wellness programme on board set up for passengers, where you can revitalise your body and soul with the yoga classes and acupuncture. They also had La Therapie Hydralift facial and aroma stone massage therapy which was to die for. The entertainment on board included shows each evening, casinos, dancing and often opportunity’s to go offshore and take part in local scenes. I will definitely be going back on the Azamara Quest as I really want to do the Seville to Barcelona sailing which looks brilliant as the flights are included for free and so are the drinks

Me and my wife have just returned from a very enjoyable cruise from Athens around Greek and Turkish coast. This itinerary was different from your normal Canary Island one, you can explore some culture and the shore excursions are amazing. The 10 days were some of the most relaxing we have had, the crew couldn’t do enough for you, always cheerful, helpful and friendly without being over bearing.

The Quest has the most delicious and varied cuisine. In the Windows Café they had magnificent fruit sculptures that were works of art. In the lounges they had excellent relaxing live music which was a perfect end to the day with a lovely whiskey in hand. Couldn’t of asked for a more relaxing special cruise. We had a bit of a problem with our air-conditioning on the third day and it stopped working, we spoke to our steward and within an hour they had someone repairing it and that evening it was working perfectly!

We wish we had service like that at home when things broke. Problems can occur anytime, anywhere, and the staff benefitted from first class organisation. The Ship and crew are very welcoming and they made us feel like family even little thing like remembering what we prefer to drink and our names just made the cruise for us. We will be looking forward to seeing the Quest again very soon

My Husband and I went on Azamara Quest for the first time as we normally like to cruise with Royal Caribbean but got a good deal, we were unsure as the ships are a lot smaller but found it very friendly and the service was outstanding. I like the idea of the open sitting as it made it more personal, you don’t feel like you are just following the crowds. I also like the fact that we had late sails from most of the ports which meant we could enjoy the whole day in port. I would recommend these smaller ships to anyone who enjoys a friendly personal service with out the big prises of the other 5 star lines.

I went on a fabulous cruise recently with Azamara! What can I say…the new All Inclusive packages are top class! The Azamara Quest is a stunning ship with a wonderful luxurious feel. We loved the spa and the wellness centre during the days at sea…but there weren’t many. It was so nice to really see each city we visited rather than getting shipped in and out within a few hours like most other cruise lines. They have a brilliant martini bar on board where you can try 20 different types of martini! What we enjoyed most was the variety of all the enrichment programmes on board this ship….the lectures we attended were fascinating! Azamara really do offer something different and I would tell everyone to try them!

Having travelled extensively around the world we have always avoided cruises like the plague, we are very independent and do not like following set itineraries. We looked at various land based options in Asia as we fancied taking in several destinations in one trip. After searching extensively my wife suggested we try a cruise as she had seen an advert for an Azamara cruise which looked excellent value, reluctantly I agreed. The cruise was great and many of our worries were proven to be ill-founded. Our major concern was the number of guests and although we had been advised by our agent Richard that 700 is not many nowadays we still had concerns, Richard was right, the ship was not crowded and it was fine, ideal in fact. We enjoyed the social aspect a lot more than we though we would and it was nice to see the same faces and we met some wonderful like minded people. The food was great as was our accommodation (club continent suite). The staff on-board could not have been more helpful and the whole trip went without a hitch. It was also great that the ship was in port for full days and sometimes even overnight so we had plenty of time ashore. Overall a great trip and while we are not likely to make cruising our number one choice (due to destination options) we will certainly cruise again which considering our concerns is a great result.

My husband and I along with 2 friends went on a cruise with Azamara last summer, I am not one to write reviews but just wanted to say we all had an amazing time. The ship was lovely, cabin superb and service simply the best we have ever had. I would not hesitate to recommend Azamara to anyone who like me may have been put off cruising by the ghastly large ships that we have seen before. Azamara are from that and have a lovely intimate boutique feel to them and are very relaxed around dining times etc. This was an excellent trip and we have already booked again and looking forward to our cruise this summer.

We have just returned from our fourth Azamara cruise and again not disappointed in anyway. This was the first time we have cruised with them since they have become more all inclusive and it was great. It was so relaxing knowing all your drinks where included and the events were superb. We also this time went for a Club Continent suite which we much preferred over the Club Verandas as it was much more spacious and we also were able to dine in the speciality restaurants at no extra charge. Just love Azamara, they keep getting better everytime.
