Whether you love taking it easy or you’re an adrenaline junkie, Norwegian Spirit has the facilities to cater to you. She’s a wonderful ship that epitomises the Freestyle Cruising ethos of Norwegian Cruise Line – you’re free to do what you want, eat when you want and relax how you want to.
Accommodation on-board is spacious and modern and includes connecting staterooms, ideal for families. There’s plenty of restaurants to choose from – 17 in fact – while the entertainment includes live shows, karaoke rooms, various bars and lounges and the video arcade and disco for younger guests to let their hair down.
Norwegian Spirit offers an excellent section of complimentary dining options. The main dining rooms, The Garden Room and Windows, offer five-course dining with gourmet presentation. For more casual dining, opt for Raffles Court, a delicious buffet-style indoor/outdoor restaurant. Then there is Blue Lagoon 24-Hour Food Court – the perfect place to grab a freshly-made burger or pizza. For something different, the Bier Garten serves Bavarian dishes like knackwurst whilst Shogun offers Asian Fusion cuisine. Round the clock room service is also available, including pizza! Simply call room service to place your order.
The ship also has a host of speciality restaurants where reservations may be made for a small additional fee. Cagney’s Steakhouse features marinated steak dishes and barbecue ribs to die for. Le Bistro is more intimate, with less than 100 guests seated at any one time. Savour French cuisine here, or head to La Trattoria for Italian delicacies. In the Teppanyaki restaurant you can watch in awe as the highly-skilled chefs slice and dice food before your eyes.
Norwegian Spirit’s suites and staterooms provide everything you need to relax, as well as many added features designed to help guests settle in. Each room comes equipped with plush bedspreads, private bathrooms with showers, and a range of beauty and bath products. The interconnecting stateroom options accommodate families of up to eight. With a choice of inside staterooms, staterooms with windows or balconies and luxurious suites, there’s something for everyone.
When it comes to daily activities you will have plenty of things to choose from. Enjoy a leisurely swim or unwind in one of the four whirlpools – it is all possible on-board this ship. If you want to keep fit while away then fear not, there is a fully equipped fitness centre with classes available. You can even play an array of sports including basketball, tennis or even golf with the two driving nets. The video arcade is ideal if you are bringing youngsters along.
Treat yourself to some pampering by visiting the on-board full-service Mandara Spa. It is here you can choose from a selection of unique and exotic spa treatments that will relax and rejuvenate – from massage sessions to pedicures.
Little ones will love Buccaneer´s Wet & Wild Pool. It comes complete with slides, paddling pools and even a hot tub just for kids. The Splash Academy will keep kids aged 3-12 busy all day long in a great venue complete with a jukebox, table football, air hockey and more. Teenagers will love the Celebrity Teen Disco.
The 900-seat Stardust Theatre is the place to enjoy a whole host of dazzling Broadway and Vegas-style shows as well as major cabaret acts. If you feel like having an evening of dancing, go along to Maharini’s, where a DJ spins popular dance tunes. You will also find a band or solo musician in several of the bars on Norwegian Sky - there is something to suit every taste. The plush Maharajah´s Casino is perfect for gamers, offering slot machines, poker, blackjack and more. Other popular venues include Champagne Charlie’s Champagne Bar, a traditional English pub, a sports bar, German-style beer garden and an observation lounge which is the perfect spot to admire the sunset.
