Toscana

Dining

If fine-dining is important to you, then Oceania Riviera will certainly not disappoint. The Grand Dining Room is the main place to eat, where you will find a delightful selection of mouth-watering dishes to choose from. If you wanted to enjoy a night of speciality dining then head to Jacques where you will be served the finest French cuisine at sea, or Red Ginger, which offers a taste of Asian flavours all wrapped within a stylish setting.

Polo Grill is another popular hot-spot on-board, where you will be able to find succulent steaks and fresh seafood, or if you enjoy authentic Tuscan fayre, then make sure you try Toscana. The venue for speciality wine and food pairings is La Reserve, where you’ll be treated to a seven-course gourmet dinner. For a casual place to eat, try the Terrace Café, which offers a choice of either indoor or outdoor dining, whatever the time of day. The perfect place for midday snacks is Waves, a poolside grill which serves a varied menu of burgers, chicken, salmon and salads.

Balcony Cabin

Accommodation

Retiring to bed at the end of a memorable day is always something to look forward to aboard this incredible ship. All of her suites and staterooms are lavished with elegant features and modern décor and you can choose to stay in a Suite, Veranda, Ocean View or Inside Stateroom.

Pool

Leisure

When it comes to unwinding, you can head to the swimming pool or simply relax in the whirlpool and thalassotherapy pool. If you’re determined to stick to your fitness regime whilst on holiday then you’ll be pleased to know that there is a fully-equipped gymnasium offering fitness machines, free weights and a great selection of classes. You can even be put to the test by your very own personal trainer if you wish. Riviera boasts three stylish boutiques, where you can purchase a whole range of designer goods, fine jewellery and perfumes.

Oceania Riviera offers the ultimate in relaxation in the form of the Canyon Ranch Spa Club – the ultimate venue for some welcome pampering. You’ll find three treatment rooms, a steam room and be able to choose from a host of body wraps, massage treatments and facials. There’s a unisex salon on-board too, which is the perfect place to head if you feel like treating yourself to a pre-dinner makeover.

Oceania Riviera welcomes guests of all ages. However, the ship is designed for adults and doesn’t provide for the care, entertainment, or supervision of children. /p>

Grand Bar

Entertainment

The main place to head to if you want to catch the best entertainment is the lounge. Here, you can be dazzled by Broadway-style shows, live music and comedians and there are also plenty of bars and lounges for you to enjoy. The best cocktails are served in Martinis, while Baristas is the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee. Grand Bar is the ideal venue for pre-dinner drinks, while Horizons offers the best views out to sea. If sipping a nice glass of vintage wine is how you like to unwind, then don’t miss out on the chance to visit La Reserve, while the Casino Bar offers an altogether livelier atmosphere.

Riviera Reviews

The Oceania Riviera is such an amazing ship! We’ve cruised 7 times before and are so impressed with the Riviera that I don’t think we will be able to go with any other cruise line now. The food on board was incredible and all the staff were so friendly.

We’ve just got back and are already looking for our next cruise with them. Really highly recommend them to anyone

I firstly want to thanks all the staff onboard the Oceania Riviera for making our first cruise with them the best we have experienced so far. We were recommended them by our Cruise Concierge as they know we like luxury and this is what we got plus much more. The ship was very new and modern, we could not find one fault with it. The dining options were great and the food was the best I have ever experienced. We normally book suites but due to the size of the balcony staterooms we decided to try them, again we were not disappointed, very spacious and comfortable. We hope to be booking our next cruise with them shortly so we will have something to look forward to.

I would like to thank Oceania for making our first experience with them so delightful. We had done a lot of research to see what would be the best cruise line to travel with, and we are so happy for choosing Oceania. The Riviera is a very modern ship and will all the most up-to-date facilities. The quality was excellent from our stateroom, to the food and the service from the staff was exceptional, don’t know how they do it. We had reserved our dining and excursions before our cruise and this was very well organised by Oceania. We found the whole experience pure luxury and very relaxing as we knew Oceania would take care of everything we had requested, looking forward to our next cruise with them.

We have just been around the Caribbean out of Miami on the lovely new Riviera – very impressed. We went on Marina last year and loved it so much that we booked straight away the winter cruise.

We upgraded to a Penthouse which was amazing, very large Suite and we even had our Butler to attend to our every need. It was lovely as we booked this to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary and we felt so looked after. We had a bottle of Champagne and a card waiting for us in our Suite and had Canapes in our Suite in the evening before we went to our evening meal. It also meant we had priority on bookings for the restaurant we liked. Well worth the extra! We also had a Whirlpool Bath with Bulgari Toiletries which I used every night.

The itinerary was really nice and we had lovely weather while it snowed at home! We did a couple of excursions with Oceania and did some trips ourselves.

The evenings were good as after dinner there was usually a show in Horizons and then we would go to the Martini bar after for a drink or two!

I used the Spa as well, we got unlimited access to the Private Spa Terrace and just paid for treatments, which weren’t cheap but average for a cruise ship and very good quality. I had a facial and a pedicure, my husband had a massage which he said was excellent.

The meals on board were fabulous again, my favourite was Polo the al a carte and also the Terrace was lovely for breakfast when we were in port as you could sit outside.

We are booking again for a South American itinerary next – cant wait!

I just wanted to say a big thank you for arranging our cruise for us, it was absolutely fantastic!

My husband and I have just returned from a Caribbean cruise on the Oceania Riviera. We flew to Miami and had 4 nights hotel at the Intercontinental which was close to Miami port. It was a 5 Star hotel right on the beach. We done lots of shopping and sightseeing. We had never been before but always wanted to go so we thought we might as well add on a few nights before the cruise.

When we arrived at the dock the size of the ship was just right, it was not too small and not huge as some ships look like floating hotels these days.

We have had a lot of reports from friends and family who have been on either the Marina or the Riviera and have highly recommended both of them.

We had booked a veranda stateroom which I have to say was a great size and the bed oh my goodness the bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get out of it!

Before we went on this cruise we had booked a few specialty restaurants as our concierge recommended that we do this as they book very quickly. We booked Jacques (French), Red Ginger (Asian) and the Polo grill (Steak house) We could not get over that we didn't need to pay a surcharge against these restaurants, very very good value for your money. My favourite was the Red Ginger with its contemporary design and great menus - Highly recommend customer to try the rack of lamb (Mouth watering)

The Grand dining room was very elegant indeed with its beautiful crystal chandelier in the centre of the room and staff who could not to enough for you.

We loved it sit in the library and relax and read a few books with our lattés from the cafe. We also treated ourselves to a few couple treatments in the Canyon ranch - We felt like new people once we left here!

We used our onboard credit we received as part of the offer on wine at dinner and shore excursions which we booked on board.

We still can not get over how much great value this cruise was. Please Please keep us in mind if anything else with Oceania comes along as we just loved them!

Just back from the Caribbean and the Riviera did us proud! We flew out to Miami and joined the ship and went for 10 days around the Mexican Riviera, had lovely weather when it was snowing in the UK!

The main thing about the ship was the amazing food, we tried all the speciality restaurants, Jacques French, Red Ginger Asian, Toscana Italian and Polo the Ala Carte. However the main dining room and restaurant were excellent also and afternoon tea to die for! I am sure we both put weight on while we were away so need to get back to the gym to lose it!! The staff on board couldn’t do enough for you, we had a lovely Balcony cabin which was much larger than we have had on other ships. We often sat on our balcony in the evening with a drink before we went for dinner.

The Pool area was large with big comfy sunbeds and you didn’t feel on top of each other like on some ships, there was a feeling of space. The grill and icecream station near the pool was a great idea too!!

We liked the Martini bar in the evening as lots of people went there after dinner if you didn’t fancy a show. We will definitely go with Oceania again and have already booked the sister ship Marina for the end of the year!

Just returned from a cruise on-board Oceania Riviera around the Caribbean. I have to say a wonderful trip and excellent value for money, compared to land based hotels in the Caribbean the price we paid was brilliant for the standard of accommodation and service we received. I have stayed in several all inclusive hotels in Mexico, Antigua, St Lucia and others and for what we paid this was great value in comparison. We upgraded to the all inclusive drinks package and found this was a benefit as the drinks are not cheap is you buy by The glass. We had a balcony stateroom on deck 8 and this was a lot more spacious than we had expected. The food was excellent and there are several options so it is easy to find something for everyone, The Polo Grill and Red Ginger were our favourites but all were very good, we also especially liked waves for lunch. This trip exceeded our expectations and we are now considering a Mediterranean cruise this summer.

My and my partner had the most fantastic time aboard the Oceania Riviera – the owner’s suite was perfect and our butler accommodated everything which we asked for. The food was faultless, in particular Jacques and Toscana, and the entertainment each evening again was excellent. This was our first time cruising with Oceania but we have now been converted and won’t look elsewhere!

I have just returned home for an incredible cruise on the Oceania Riviera.

We Sailed out of Miami and went round the Central America part of the Caribbean. The Ship has got to be my favourite. She simply sparkled and the food was outstanding. We ate in all four of the speciality restaurants and the fact that we didn’t have to pay any extra was a bonus.

We took the drinks package that Oceania provide and it was well worth it. Plenty of choice and we didn’t have to worry about our bill at the end of the cruise. This is the first time we have been on a ship that had full floor to ceiling windows in the cabin, we didn’t have a balcony as we never use it but the light just flooded in to our cabin which was wonderful. We will certainly be going on this ship again!

This really was my best holiday I have ever had. I could not fault it- The ship was a perfect size, never ever felt busy but had an element on grandeur. The food was absolutely to die for on every occasion, My Ocean View cabin was the biggest I have stayed in- I was really happy without a balcony. The staff were phenomenal, and I definitely felt like I was living the high life! The fact the speciality restaurants were complimentary and soft drinks were included made the cruise terrific value for money and going to ports the huge ships can’t get to was a real treat- The first time in many years cruising, ports became pretty!

I used to cruise with Celebrity every time, as fabulous as they are- This is the next step and I am definitely an Oceania Convert!

On boarding it was quite apparent that the ship was elegant luxury with lots of space, although we would normally cruise on ships with less than 700 passengers our booking concierge said not to let this put us off that this ship carries 1250 passengers. Our suite was a veranda and was spacious and just utter luxury from its décor to the luxury Egyptian cotton bedding. The butler service was just amazing and nothing was too much trouble. With unlimited soft drinks, coffees etc throughout the ship and in our cabin this was a real bonus and very convenient. This ship itself was just wonderful for a young ship elegant though out. The country club ambiance was obvious thought out and made us feel relaxed. As we like to do our own thing during the day one of the things for us was the free shuttles from port to city centre in most of the ports. We loved the overnights in ports. Although as we said previously this is a larger ship than we are used to we feel that the sense of luxury, intimacy and elegance remain consistent throughout our whole experience.

Hello Kevin, we have just returned from our long-awaited cruise on Oceania Riviera.

The holiday you organised for us was fabulous from start to finish. The hotels you suggested were superb, the transfers worked seamlessly, and the ship has a real 'wow' factor.

We were made to feel so welcome and every request was met with real care and attention. The crew seemed unbelievably happy and they simply wanted us to have a good time.

The food, as you suggested, was of amazing quality. Every meal was a delight. How can we go back to other cruise lines after this?

The excursions provider you suggested also worked well.

We don't have a single instance of anything that could have been improved- this is something we have never been able to say before.

Thanks once again- you can be sure of positive recommendations from us.
