Seven Seas Navigator Reviews

Alaska has always been top of my list since I went on my first cruise 6 years ago, but timing never seemed right due to work commitments. When I retired we decided we would go and Wow what a Holiday.

We chose to Travel with Regent cruises on their ship the Seven Seas Navigator. We certainly made the right decision! Not only was the cruise All inclusive and Six Star but when they said All inclusive they meant it! We had a choice of 41 shore excursions that were also included and that meant we could see all that we wanted when visiting the ports in Alaska.

We have never been on a Six Star cruise before as we felt that they were overpriced but we never realised the Value you got! It was worth every penny and we have booked another for next year in South America with Regent.

The Navigator was a beautiful ship. Spacious Suites with walk in wardrobe, The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and as for the Food! Well I thought the food on our other cruises was good but this was of the highest quality and so pretty when it was brought to the table.

The ship did not have the all singing all dancing facilities that others we have been on have but to be honest, I’m not that good at Ice Skating and I don’t Climb many rock walls so it was perfect for our needs.

Champagne was always available included in our cost and we never had to put our hand in our pocket. We actually think that if we added up all the costs of the drinks, Shore excursions we would have spent far more on a four star ship!

If you are in doubt, just give them a go as you won’t be disappointed!

We have been on this ship before and really loved it, the crew are fantastic and so friendly.

Its not a large ship – only 500 guests when full and 345 crew so the ratio is great and we all get thoroughly spoilt.

The Caribbean was lovely this year, really warm and we made sure we did plenty of trips which are included with Regent – such good value!

As usual we tried the different restaurants – the Compass Rose and my favourite – Signatures which is French Cuisine, the meals and the wine are excellent with great service too.

We had a Grand Suite this time – last time it was a Navigator suite but we thought we would treat ourselves and we weren’t disappointed. The Suite was very big on a corner with a full wrap around balcony so you could get the sun all day if you wanted. We also had a Butler who saw to it that our reservations in the restaurants were ok and helped us with our excursions, also he made sure my husband had his favourite tipple in the cabin.

We will return to Regent again later in the summer and will ask 6 star cruises to look after the booking as well, they are very efficient.

Just returned of a terrific cruise around the Caribbean on the Regent Seven Seas Navigator. The service, food, suite were all superb and could not have asked for any better. We didn’t bother with any excursions however those that did said how good they were (even the free ones), overall an excellent trip and very much looking forward to our next.

This was our 40th wedding anniversary and we always wanted to go to Alaska so we thought we would treat ourselves. The great things about this ship was the size of the suites on-board and the balcony space as well! (A BALCONY IS A MUST FOR AN ALASKA CRUISE) We loved the thought of not having to go and check our account to see how much we had spent as it was complimentary meals, drinks, gratuities AND Shore excursions!!

We always cruise with Regent and this year returned to the Seven Seas Navigator, as always the ship was in pristine condition and the quality of service which we received on board was excellent. We took a shore excursion in each port of call and found these to be very in depth and ensured that we got the most out of each destination! Our Master Suite was bright, light and modern and our usual butler was on hand to assist in everything. The compass rose dining room was superb and Prime 7 was also excellent too.

We cruised last summer on the Regent Seven Seas Navigator on a Alaskan voyage from Seward to Vancouver. The cruise was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed a part of the world we had never been to. The scenery s simply stunning and we had excellent weather so were very lucky. The trips that are included were excellent but the premium trips you pay for are quite pricey. The suite was superb and a great size although was a little tired but I understand they have now ben refurbished. We had a veranda suite and our agent Richard advised we should have a port side suite so that we faced land, this was sound advice as the views are amazing! The food was also of a very high standard as was the impeccable service. We had 4 nights after the cruise in the Pan Pacific in Vancouver which Richard recommended due to location, he was not wrong, the hotel is across the street from the cruise terminal and being on the waterfront was a great base to explore. Vancouver itself if lovely and very easy to get around but Richard was correct in saying that the being near the water makes for a better location that being downtown. There are a few hotels around this part of town and all looked nice. It was also nice to just walk over the road and check in so not have to bother with coach loads of tourists. Overall it was a superb trip and we will certainly book again.

I booked onto this cruise as I wanted to try a premium cruise line and being on my own, I don’t like being surrounded by lots of people. I was recommended by my concierge to try regent he said that the ship was large enough to have all the facilities that I would want but also only carried 700 other guests so I wouldn’t feel crowded.

I went for a deluxe suite and I was not disappointed. I had a spacious suite with walk-in wardrobe, a full ensuite bathroom complete with tub and separate shower cubicle and the most comfortable bed. I really felt at home. The quality was obvious with L’Occitane toiletries in the bathroom and over 200 films to watch on demand on the TV that was included in my stateroom, I enjoyed a night in one night, just me, Robert De Niro and a sumptuous meal ordered through room service that was served to me course by course. It was a joy not having to dress up and feel forced to socialise after a long days sightseeing. You see, the excursions were all included with regent and so I was able to do a full day in Rome and see everything that I wanted at no extra cost. Some people would say that its is all free but I believe that you get what you pay for and so although the cost was more than say the likes of Princess cruise’s, the quality far outdid them and the value for money was exceptional as it was all included in the upfront price that I paid. I will certainly be travelling Regent again as the on board entertainment was fantastic, there was a resident acrobat team who did the most amazing performances and the lounge singer was superb also. A great choice for the solo traveller but be prepared for the upfront cost. It is worth it though, every penny!

WOW! What a fantastic cruise you have recommended to us. We got back 2 days ago from Alaska on a cruise with Regent Seven Seas.

Everything went so smoothly from flights from UK – Anchorage, transfers, overnight hotel stay, excursions and flights back from Vancouver – UK.

This as our first time with Regent and was looking forward to being spoilt for the week. We were not disappointed as we were just that spoilt!

I will now have to go on a diet as the food was just beautiful, you had so much to choose from. By the end of the 1st night the staff knew from then The staff on the ship was excellent, they had no hesitations on helping us when we asked for anything.

Our balcony suite was very spacious, this is what I expected from a 6 Star liner. We thoroughly enjoyed having our insuite mini bar replenished daily as we liked to have a little drink while we were getting ready.

I would definitely recommend that customers would need to book early for the excursions as they were limited when we booked quite late. This is good value for money as most of them are included. The scenery and wildlife is breath taking. We are now thinking of a rocky mountaineer for next year as our work commitments this year restricted us to only 1 week cruising.
