Seven Seas Voyager Reviews

First Impression, Ultra Luxury defines the Onboard Lifestyle. First Class Service. Mid-Size ship which carries 700 guests.

All suite all balcony accommodation with even the lead in balcony a very generous 300 square feet! Speciality Restaurants were beautiful ( No cover charge ) Prime 7 and Signatures. The Canyon Ranch Spa have a very relaxed elegant atmosphere. I would say the entertainment was low key, but offering a good variety. Fantastic relaxation areas such as the library/ and internet café. A sports deck for the more energetic which included tennis, shuffleboard, golf driving net and Jogging Track. Also on board a very impressive fitness centre.

With Regent everything its all included. A new concierge amenities was introduced in 2012 for guests staying at Concierge Level.

Regent Seven Seas Voyager went beyond my expectations.

Even though Regent have smaller ships - the Voyager is 42000 tonnes - she still looked very impressive from the Quayside in Dublin. Voyager is a beautiful all Suite ship and when full carries only 700 guests. When I boarded you could feel the understated quality wherever you went.

The pool deck was quiet as a lot of passengers were sightseeing however you could see it was never going to be overcrowded here, plenty of lovely sunbeds, a pool and 2 Jacuzzis to choose from. On the same deck was the Pool Bar and a ‘Café´ serving gorgeous poolside snacks, burgers, pizzas etc.

If you wanted a formal lunch you could choose from several dining venues including the fabulous main dining room where I had an amazing 5 course lunch. The Steak was to die for!! (and the choccy pud!) There are of course lots of eating options from rooms service, the coffee lounge with snacks, formal and informal dining. Its all there and its all included and fabulous.

My Veranda Suite was really lovely and plenty big enough – 306 sqft plus balcony of 50 sqft. There was a proper bathroom with bath, walk in shower (important to so many people that don´t like a shower over the bath) and you are provided with L´Occitaine toiletries. The walk in wardrobe was very impressive as again storage can be an issue on cruises but not on Regent! There was also an ample sitting area and of course the balcony.

The Canyon Ranch Spa caters for many guests and all sorts of treatments are available, the Gym was larger than I expected for those that don´t want to fall behind with their exercise. We had a real treat as an Irish band were doing the traditional Irish Dancing in the Theatre – this gave a real feel of life on board, it was lovely watching this being served cocktails by the very attentive Regent staff.

So all in all I was smitten. Value for money is apparent as so much is included and is top notch quality.

What a beautiful Ship! A short walk up the Gangway into the Main Atrium area on deck 4 and we were on board one of only two all veranda suite ships in existence, the Beautiful Seven Seas Voyager.

A tour of the ship highlighted all the main areas and also some of the very spacious suites available.

The Observation Lounge is a wonderful place to enjoy a quiet afternoon beverage or to simply relax and watch the Sunset. A popular choice for guest as a Pre dinner cocktail venue and also a great viewpoint to witness the spectacular views that are offered upon entering or leaving the various ports of call. At selected times, Musicians will serenade you as you soak in the charms of your destination

Other on board venues such as the Horizon Lounge offer you a comfortable surround with fantastic service form the staff. The Pool Area was very comfortable with Luxurious Sun Loungers, 2 Jacuzzis and Table Tennis.

Food on board was of a very high standard, I had Fillet Mignon at lunch and my knife slid through the meat as if it was butter. Very attentive waiters served the food along with a very generous Sommelier who also gave us a great insight into how to taste and savour the wine to get the best out of it.

My Suite was incredibly spacious. 306 sq.ft and a further 50 sq.ft for the Balcony. All the Suites feature European King-size beds ( these can be separated to provide 2 twin beds if needed), Walk in Wardrobe, Full bathroom with Tub and separate shower and the usual amenities you would expect in any such accommodation. Your in Suite Mini Bar is replenished daily with Soft drinks, bottled water and beer.

If you are tired and don´t fancy going down to dinner, Room Service will provide you with a delicious array of meals from the Restaurant Menu and it will be served to you in your Suite Course by Course!

What makes Regent stand out from the Rest of the six star Cruise lines is the nature of their “All Inclusive”. Even the Shore Excursions are included with this Cruise Line!

The Seven Seas Voyager is truly a Classy Ship that will make you feel at home the World Over!

We returned last week from a cruise on-board The Regent Seven seas voyager around the Baltics. The cruise was superb and every bit as good as we were expecting from the information given by our agent Richard. We have cruised once before with Royal Caribbean which was not our thing due to the size of the ship and number of children so was very reluctant to try another however Regent delivered on all elements our previous cruise did not. We have 5 grandchildren so we love kids but when away it is nice to get some peace and quiet and you could count the number of kids on this cruise on one hand which was great. The suite was fantastic and very spacious with a lovely large balcony. The inclusivity was also great and with all drinks, tips and excursions included was good value and actually compared favourably to our last cruise when you add in all the extras they charged. The trips were great and we especially loved the Hermitage in St Petersburg which was incredible, we also did the ballet which I must admit my wife enjoyed more than me but it was a good experience although we did have to pay a supplement for this. The food on-board was exquisite and easily comparable some fine dining experiences we have had in London and far better than the Royal Caribbean cruise. The open dining was also great as we like to dine at different times depending on what we have done that day. The entertainment was not world class but more than acceptable for us and we preferred the atmosphere in the lounges anyway as shows are not really our thing. The drinks quality was great and cocktail menus extensive, they would happily serve anything you asked for and if you can not find something to your taste then you really are far to picky. In the future we will now only consider Regent and we cant wait to try them again. A really fantastic trip.

This ship was recommended to me by a good friend. Apparently over half the people on board had been on board before and I soon appreciated the reasons why. She is a small ship with only about 800 people on her which means that the levels of service and dining on board were just as I had experienced when I first cruised 25 years ago. She is an elegant ship with lots of traditional touches yet feels spacious and never crowded. We ate one night in the Signatures restaurant where the food was as good as some of the best London restaurants. Last year we sailed from Southampton to the fjords and booked on board for this years sailing to form Copenhagen to St Petersburg and Russia – I cant wait for June to be here

Oh what a lovely cruise we have had! The Voyager was fantastic, we were so spoilt.

We had a Penthouse grade cabin which was lovely and big with a sitting area and a balcony. The beds were so comfy too and we even had a pillow menu! With Penthouses you have a Butler too which was great and he was so helpful to us. My husband likes particular drink in the mini bar and he made sure everything was perfect for us. He booked our restaurants and our spa treatments for us and made everything so easy.

There was Champagne and fresh fruit in our Suite when we arrived too, everything was though of.

We really enjoyed the food on board too, all the restaurants from the Coffee Bar to the main restaurants were wonderful and I especially enjoyed afternoon tea. My favourite restaurant was the Signatures which was French cuisine. Wines were good too!

What we love with Regent that everything is taken care of and paid for in the price, so no awkward tipping, no worry about bar bills as its included and the excursions are included too. There were loads to choose from, we couldn’t do them all!

We are booking one of Regents med itineraries soon so we have something lovely to look forward to

My first time with Regent Seven Seas and I was on the Seven Seas Voyager. I had a Penthouse Suite with Butler Service and how spoilt I was! The Ship was beautiful and my Suite was outstanding. The most comfortable bed I have ever had at sea! All my excursions were included and this was very convenient, being a single traveller it meant that I could book on to the excursions knowing that most of the ships were on one too and that I would be able to make acquaintances more easily. Although a hefty Single supplement I do think it’s worth every penny especially when they spoilt me so! I will be coming back to Regent again!

When we arrived in Southampton I could see her from the outskirts of the city and thought how sleek she looked . I was surprised at how large she was too although she was tiny in comparison with some others sailing that day . The suite we had was really spacious and from the second we boarded we were made to feel welcome and that everything we could have wanted was anticipated before we needed to ask. As we sailed past the Isle of Wight that night it was a beautiful evening and we viewed everything from the restaurant as we drank champagne . Absolute bliss.

I have just returned from a brilliant cruise on the Regent Seven Seas Voyager. This was my first cruise with Regent which my Cruise Concierge had recommended and thought it would be our ideal cruise line, they could not have been anymore correct. From the moment we booked it very extremely easy to get organised, firstly we knew the cruise was all inclusive, we could pre-book our complimentary shore excursions and a night in each speciality restaurant. There was no set dress code, they called it resort elegant/country casual, this suited my husband, he does not like to get dressed up in his DJ! From the moment we got onboard we were treated with exceptional service from all the staff and our holiday had really begun. Our deluxe balcony suite was exactly what we wanted and it was great to sit on the balcony in the afternoon with a lovely glass of bubbly The facilities were superb, the pool deck was great to relax and the Canyon Ranch Spa was great to treat myself. The food in all the restaurants was amazing but we especially enjoyed Signatures, the speciality French restaurant and were able to book additional nights onboard. In the evening we really enjoyed the shows in the theatre and we loved to go to the casino. Now I am back home I am getting so excited as about to book my next cruise with Regent and let it all start over again.

It was quite clear when we boarded how much space is available on this ship, where when you arrive at your suite it is quite clear they have been designed with comfort and space in mind from the wonderful marble bathroom with walk in shower and L’Occitane premium products supplied for us complimentary. There was even a separate area for dinning or relaxation which after a busy year working was wonderful for us For us the undefined luxury and gourmet dinning was the most amazing experience we have had in cruising, to add the complimentary champagne and fine wine made everything so easy for us to relax and enjoy the experiences. We loved the open dinning and the chance to make our own decisions about where and when to eat. We will not hesitate to return again.

We had been recommended by friends who are regular customers with Regent Seven Seas. This would have been our first ever cruise and we wanted to make it special as we are celebrating 40 years of marriage!

Our suite was a deluxe suite with balcony, we just couldn’t get over the size of the suite and the veranda. The space was a lot more than what we imagined it would be.

Before we cruised we booked our speciality restaurants as our travel consultant advised if we were to celebrate our anniversary and wanted a table of 2 we would then then to book at 75 days before travel. We had the most mouth watering 28 day dry aged steak in Prime Seven, with a beautiful bottle of red wine.

We were spoilt for choice with food as for lunch we the option of going to La Veranda, Pool Grill, coffee shop AND the Compass rose! Decisions decisions.

We also loved to sit for after dinner drinks in Horizon lounge listening to the musician. Very relaxing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our complimentary excursions which we booked again before we went. They were very professional on the tours and if you had any questions they didn’t mind you asking any questions.

We could not get over how the staff were able to remember our names and what our favourite drink was. I find it hard sometimes to remember my own name never mind nearly 700 people!

As this was our first time cruising I was so glad drinks, food, tips and trips were included as this meant we could sit back and relax and not have to worry about a bill at the end of the cruise.

Thank very much for a fantastic recommendation with Regent Seven Seas. We have just returned from a Northern Europe cruise to Russia which was an believable experience.

The ship was stunning first impressions of this luxury vessel were excellent.

We enjoyed spending our onboard credit that we received as part of this offer on treatments in the Spa and of course the jewellery shop!

This was our first ever small cruise ship as we usually cruise with Celebrity holding 2000 passengers and above. The staff were very attentive and polite and with fewer people on board they knew us by our first name! I was very impressed when we went to the bar on the 2nd night and the bar man remembered what we had to drink on the first night and had it sitting waiting for us before we said what we wanted. Now that is what I call service.

The food on this ship was beautiful, the main restaurant Compass Rose was very classy indeed. My husband favourite meal in this restaurant was the Norwegian Salmon Fillet which was poached and mine was the Rib Eye and they cooked it exactly how I like it. We went for a larger table on the nights that we ate in here and met some brilliant characters from America, Canada and Australia.

We could of ate all day if we really wanted to as there was so many options to choose from but I decided to hold back as I needed to fit into my new outfits!

Our favourite excursions were the Russian Ballet it was beautiful. They danced so elegantly and told the story so well. The pieces of artwork in The Hermitage were breath taking, my husband is an inspiring artist and this was his highlight of Russia. The only down side of this trip was the time we spent in Russia one more night would have been great but I suppose it is one of those things. We will just have to go back again and do all the rest of the excursions we missed out on!
