Minstrel Dining Room

Dining

The main dining room, Minstrel, is set out over two floors, and offers diners an airy, elegant venue to enjoy their meal in classic style. For more casual dining, enjoy sandwiches, snacks and buffet meals at the Sea View or Windjammer cafés, Pizzeria for a tasty slice of Italy or Portofino for a speciality dish in more luxurious restaurant surroundings. Alternatively, you could head to Chops Grille for a steak, burger or delicious fresh seafood. For a quick treat, Latte-tudes – the ship’s coffee bar – offers a great selection of cakes, pastries and ice cream.

Balcony Stateroom

Accommodation

Brilliance of the Seas offers four many types of cruising accommodation: Suite, Balcony, Outside View and Interior. Most offer an oversized balcony and all suites – apart from Junior Suites – come with concierge service. If you´re looking for a spacious balcony for additional space to relax and greet your ports of call in the mornings or if you´d like to treat yourself to some additional luxury, you´ll find an accommodation option to suit you. Travelling with the family? There are spacious Family Ocean View Staterooms and Two Bedroom Family Suites available.

Solarium

Activities

The Brilliance of the Seas offers activities for everyone, however you like to spend your time aboard. You could be climbing the ship’s top-deck rock wall or skating in the indoor ice rink. Take a swim in one of the ship’s two pools or relax in one of three whirlpools instead. If you’re looking for an active holiday, there are plenty of facilities to choose from – from the ship’s golf simulator and gym to a full-size basketball court. Your voyage might also give you the chance to try wine tastings, card game lessons in the ship’s casino, foreign language classes, and the opportunity to learn swing dance and salsa.

Brilliance of the Seas offers a great range of facilities for younger travellers, with Adventure Ocean specially designed for kids and young people. The clubs are divided into four separate centres for younger and older kids, including the full arcades, air hockey tables and parties.

Pacifica Theater

Entertainment

Royal Caribbean have cruise ship entertainment down to a fine art, and Brilliance of the Seas certainly continues this trend. The Pacifica Theatre is the main show lounge for big productions, featuring stage shows and cabaret acts in a full-size theatre setting. Elsewhere on-board you could take the mic at the Schooner Bar, a warm and welcoming nautical venue with a live pianist providing the soundtrack to your evening. There are daily performances of ice-skating shows in Studio B or, if you prefer to just sit back with some music, the Aquarium Bar, Champagne Bar and Connoisseur Club make perfect places to unwind with a quiet drink. Alternatively, head to High Notes, the ship’s inviting jazz venue – or try your luck at the Casino Royale, offering lessons for beginners and tournaments for those with some experience at the tables.

Brilliance of the Seas Reviews

Brilliance of the Seas, is in a word brilliant! We have just come back from a trip around the Baltics and Russia. We wanted to see St Petersburg, and its so much easier to do when you dont have to mess around with visas. Royal Caribbean sort all that out for you. Great time and the ship were just perfect. So much to do its amazing. We enjoyed the shows on an evening and also open air cinema! The food options are fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the Samba Grill steakhouse. The staffs were really helpful and couldnt do enough for you. I am definitely going to be booking again.

We decided we wanted to go somewhere warm for Christmas and then chose the Middle East. Although the Middle East Countries don’t celebrate Christmas the shopping malls and other areas were decorated for the visitors and the trees were the biggest I’ve ever seen. We went on a 4x4 picnic in Oman which ended with a tour of Muscat and I felt it a good trip.

The ship was decorated well and everyone of the staff were very friendly. There was loads to see and do on board the ship and I especially liked the shows and the cookery demonstrations.

The Minstrel dining room had a good choice of food but we also tried the Windjammer buffet and enjoyed the selection there for a change. We splashed out for Chops Grill which was well worth the extra charge and thoroughly enjoyed the extra special attention.

All in all a great trip and we came back with a good tan as well. Thank you Brilliance.

My husband and myself booked a cruise and stay travelling to Dubai. We booked into the Jumeriah Beach for 4 nights and then cruise with Royal Caribbean Brilliance of the Seas for 7 nights.

We knew that this ship was not one of the newer ones with Royal but saying that we thought it was kept clean and tidy and had a nice ambience on-board. The ports of call were fantastic something completely different than your normal Med itineraries. The weather was unbelievable. The entertainment and food was just great we loved Chops Grill which we dined in a couple of nights.

If you are looking to do something different than this would be the cruise for you!

I have just done my first cruise on the Royal Caribbean ship. I absolutely loved it!

The food in the Windjammer restaurant was lovely always such a vast selection!(as my waistline shows). The food on an evening at the Minstrel Restaurant was definitely of a 5 star standard.

I liked the fact that I could dine on the Anytime option by pre paying my gratuities in advance, something that put me off in the past was being restricted to a set time.

The staff were all so attentive and friendly.

The whole cruise was brilliant, and I can honestly say… I cant wait to book another cruise !

BRILLIANCE – Adventure Beach is where my 2 children spent most of our 7 night cruise – the team in Adventure Ocean did a wonderful job of looking after them – a big thank you to them! We found Chops Grille & Giovanni’s Table served fantastic dishes & we was well catered for with our youngsters which made our life a lot easier.

A truly wonderful ship that is light and airy. Our first cruise and we cruised round the Arabian gulf from Dubai on this ship and had a fabulous time. The ship feels spacious and very light due to the copious amounts of windows in the public areas. The food on board was of a very high standard and nothing was too much trouble for the crew.

Most evenings we spent in the Piano bar drinking Martinis and listening to the wonderful Talents of the resident pianist. We even had a game of pool on the special pool tables that move with the ship so that you always have a level table – ingeniuous!

The speciality restaurant Chops, was a favourite, for a small cover charge each we were treated to a fabulous meal and I didn’t think they could better the main restaurant but they did!

I would recommend that you pre pay your tips before you go as this gives the freedom to eat when your hungry and not be restricted to the same time each night.

We will certainly be trying another Royal Caribbean cruise in the future

Our trip on the Brilliance of the Seas was my first experience of a cruise. I was extremely impressed and really enjoyed our time on board as there is so much to do throughout the day with a range of activities suitable for all members of the family. The food was excellent and the staterooms were much more spacious than I had imagined. The casino is great fun in the evening and the champagne bar is a great place to watch the sunset as you make your way to a new destination
