Voyager of the Seas Reviews

Megan Parsons

star rating

Wow what a ship Voyager of the seas is!!! We wanted a cruise Holiday to relax and enjoy a few different places. We certainly got the different places, Barcelona, Rome and Florence, but as for the relaxing …. this ship was incredible, We did not stop having fun and there was so much to do. We went Ice Skating on the indoor Rink, Rock Climbing at the top of the ship, The views were spectacular. I did however manage to get some relaxation in the Spa on board, a great Massage and facial did just the job for me.

The atmosphere on this Ship was buzzing and our favourite place was the Royal Promenade. It was like a High Street, Cafes, Bars, Lounges all off this long central prom that runs down the middle of the ship. They even had Parades in the evening which everyone really looked forward to!

Our Cabin was great too, Nice and Spacious, and we had our own Balcony that enabled us to have some fresh Air in the cabin whenever we wanted it.

We nearly put on loads of weight as the food was so plentiful and sooo tasty! Thankfully there was a fantastic Gym on board so we were able to burn those extra calories!

We cant wait to go back on a Royal Caribbean Cruise!

just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had on the voyager of the seas the destinations we visited were some of the most fantastic places to see, as we walked on board I must say it felt like I was in a different world. Loved waking up on new morning to look out, onto our balcony to see another wonderful paradise. The food was not what I expected from such a big ship, but it was out of this world I was so amazed with the standard of the cuisine and the way the waiting on staff were always smiling and greeting me by my name, it made me feel like I was not a number but a real person.

I wanted to let you all know that myself and new husband, have returned from our first Royal Caribbean cruise onboard the Voyager of the Seas for our honeymoon and it was wonderful. The ship was amazing and the facilities it offers are never ending. From when we got onboard we had the best time. Our balcony stateroom was superb, very spacious and all what you expect from a superior hotel. The food what exceptional, we really enjoyed Portofino, this was our favourite. During the day we booked excursions which were so welled organised and very relaxing. In the evening the entertainment was great, anything from a West End Show in the Theatre to a street party on the Royal Promenade. The staff were excellent and very friendly. I hope the next time we go we may be taking a young family as the facilities they have for kids looked brilliant.

Upon entering the ship I was in awe at the sheer size. There was this promenade that ran through the centre of the ship which had lots of things to see and do. There was shops, bars, places to eat and had a great atmosphere. Throughout the trip they had various events taking place there such as the Captains cocktail drinks and another time a carnival which was amazing.

Although the ship was large and carries a lot of people, I have to say I never once felt liked it was crowded and sometimes actually wondered where everyone was … but I guess with so many things going on all day and night and various things taking place to cater for different peoples tastes it never felt busy anywhere.

The food was fantastic, our waiter was excellent and really got to know us which was nice to go to eat and have a laugh with people and nothing was ever to much to ask for. We ate in the main dining every night but also tried the other dining options on the ship like the Windjammer and the pool food area. Johnny Rockets was great to sit in a 60’s diner style restaurant.

Entertainment was just the best every night, we watched Ice Skating shows, Broadway style shows, so many different events and games taking place throughout the ship we were never bored and to be honest never got to bed early whilst on the cruise.

So to sum up it was a great holiday, with great service, great food and is certainly a holiday that will always be remembered. Royal Caribbean are a great product and have everything covered for all ages, tastes and if you just wish to chill then this can be done as well.

This was the first ship my husband had ever been on and he thought it was Fantastic. From the moment we walked on board the staff where excellent, we love the buffet area Windjammers as every morning for breakfast you were greeted with a big welcoming smile, they seem so happy all the time. We had an inside cabin with a double bed and there was lots of room to move around the bed. We could not fault it. My husband loved the rock climbing wall and fitness centre for me I loved the pool area and although there were lots of children on-board they did not take over the pool areas and were very well supervised. We had a lot of fun with the crazy golf. The shows on board are always something but to see the Ice show at sea was amazing and well worth it. Would definitely go on this ship again.

What an amazing ship, I just loved the Promenade in the middle of the ship. I had heard about it from my sister but you had to see it to believe it. I actually thought I was in new Orleans one evening with the mardi gras parades!! My Promenade view cabin overlooked this and as soon as the Pizza parlour was empty I sent my husband down for a cappuchino and a slice of Pizza.

I think the view inside the ship was a lot more interesting than looking at the Sea. Great for people watching, and there were a few sights to see,

I saw an amazing ice show, another amazing idea from Royal Caribbean, it was like nothing I’d ever seen before.

As with all Royal Caribbean features the rock climbing wall was always busy, not just with kids too. I did enjoy the spa and the gift shops, managed to shop without feeling guilty with all the duty free prices. Definitely worth a peek.

All in all a super holiday or should I say Vacation!
