Is the Balmoral a brand new ship or re-furbished?

Is the Balmoral a brand new ship, or is it an old ship that has been re-furbished?

Accommodating 1,350 passengers, the Balmoral is Fred.Olsen’s newest and largest vessel. She was lengthened by almost 100 feet and completely refitted before entering service with the line in 2008. The Balmoral was built in 1988 and was operated by a number of cruise lines before entering service with Fred.Olsen.
