Princess Cruises to hear the Sound of Music

Princess Cruises

The waves are soon to be alive with The Sound of Music, as Princess Cruises has just announced that it will be screening the legendary film musical on-board all its ships from mid-April onwards.

Why? Well, not only is 2015 the year that Princess celebrates 50 years of cruising but it also marks the 50th anniversary of the much-loved family favourite, The Sound of Music. Princess will not only be showing the film throughout 2015 on-board all its ships but will also host sing-alongs and trivia games in a number of themed experiences during the year. Not only that, but each month the line will also be holding a competition which offers cruisers the chance to win a free cruise.

The Sound of Music will be shown once during every Princess Cruises 2015 sailing and the line’s ships are indeed the perfect ones to watch it on, featuring giant Movies Under the Stars screens for on-deck showings and singalong screenings taking place in the Princess Theater. For those who want to take the singing along to another level, there will be a special edition of the Princess Pop Choir, where fans of the musical can meet and rehearse for the ultimate singalong performance.

Whether you love The Sound of Music or not, we have a great selection of Princess Cruises available throughout 2015 and beyond, so take a look at what we have on offer, then call our Cruise Concierge to book your place on-board.
