Something’s cooking on the Cunard Grill

Cunard cruises

Already one of the most beautiful vessels afloat, Cunard’s flagship Queen Mary II is set to undergo some stylish enhancements in 2016.

Anyone familiar with this much-loved ship will know all about her distinctive art deco style and classic design which offers a contemporary cruising experience, but one which also harks back to the golden age of cruising. You’ll be relieved to know that none of this is set to change but there will be some new, stylish interiors which will stay true to the ship’s classic roots.

For those looking forward to the ultimate in Cunard refinement, the line’s Grill Suites have always been the go-to choice and it’s these ultra-opulent accommodations that will be extensively re-styled and reconfigured to maximize the space they offer, whilst still retaining the classic Cunard feel. The line’s illustrious history will be referenced throughout the suites, with brand new carpets inspired by the original Queen Mary and the rooms will be tastefully redecorated, too.

The Grill Suites take their inspiration from the revered a la carte restaurants of the same name, so it’s only fitting that the Queens Grill and Princess Grill will also be redesigned, with new furnishings, colour scheme and new seating-for-two configurations. Of course, a redesigned restaurant is more effective when the menu’s had a make-over too, hence why there will be an array of new culinary choices in the restaurant’s. One thing which won’t change however is the line’s famous White Star Service, so expect white gloved attentiveness during every meal.

Have you ever cruised with Cunard? We always have some great deals available, including a number of sailings on the new-look Queen Mary II.
