Offering exceptional entertainment to all her guests, there are plenty of venues to choose from on board her many decks. Enjoy Broadway-style shows in the on-board theatre, shop in the Royal Promenade where you can visit boutiques in a lively and fun atmosphere, catch a blockbuster movie on the big screen and even don your ice skates for the ice rink – or leave it to the professionals with spectacular choreographed shows.

There are plenty of places to have a drink and socialise with fellow guests on-board: enjoy quiet and relaxing drinks at the Schooner Bar or Sky Bar; or experience a livelier atmosphere with Studio B’s nightclub or the R-Bar – featured right at the heart of the Centrum where you can enjoy breath-taking acrobatic performances.

Explorer of the Seas Reviews

Wow sailing out of New York has to be one of the most amazing experiences of my life. To sail past the statue of Liberty was a life long dream of mine. We spent a few days in New York before the cruise which is a must if you are sailing form there. We must have doubled the weight of our cases in shopping too. So glad we did so we could look our best on the fantastic Explorer of the Sea. It was the first time we cruise but definitely not the last. We loved it! Even at the grand old age of 65 I was up that climbing wall once a day. (I needed to to burn of all the extra calories I put on in the Wind Jammer). Thanks Cruise 118 for arranging this for us we will be back soon.

Royal Caribbean’s- Explorer of the Seas- there was a group of 26 guests on board for my Brother’s Wedding and it was just magical.

They had organised their wedding through- Royal Romance and I must say it went very smoothly and I would totally recommend it. The Wedding Chapel was simple but very elegant. Right at the top of the ship, we got on board before any other guests to get ready, wedding as at 1.30pm they met with the wedding coordinator , last minute touches were made, the ceremony was lovely and it was over in about 30mins, they Royal Caribbean had arranged a private function for all of us ( at my Brother's expense of course), we had a great time, food & free bar put on- it was just great start to our trip to the Caribbean.

The staff were great, had such a laugh with them all, cos we had met them that 1st day, then all through the cruise they always said hello or stopped us and chatted. Really unforgettable time.

If anyone was looking to go away and get married, I would certainly do it this way-so easy & simple to arrange and just lovely on board

I recently had a lovely cruise on board the Explorer of the seas with Royal Caribbean. I travelled with 2 of my friends and we all shared a balcony cabin, which was so nice and comfortable and so lovely to have your own private balcony to relax on. My friends and I are all quite active and really enjoyed the number of things we could do to keep us entertained throughout the cruise. We all had a go on the 200ft rock climbing wall, which was exhilarating! We also made a daily trip to the gym which is great as they have all the state of the art equipment on board. Then once our gym sessions were done we all had time to relax in the wonderful day spa. I treated myself to some beauty treatments and one of my friends had her hair done by the friendly hairdressers on board for our formal nights. We also loved to relax in the solarium as there is a pool there which is exclusively for adults. The food was wonderful with so much choice…I have put on over a stone over the course of the two week cruise…but it was worth it! The night times were the best, we all had a giggle watching the comedians in the nightclub and enjoyed a good boogie! We will be doing another cruise on board this ship later this year!

We recently had a very good cruise on Explorer of the seas to Northern Europe.Unfortunately the cabin we had was an extra one fitted in the refit so we were told. We requested a double bed and unfortunately I had to climb over the arm of the sofa and end of the bed to enable me to get into bed, we had the beds separated the next day and then the drawers of the unit did not open properly. This cabin 9327 is not suitable for elderly people I am 73 . Had there had been a single arm chair rather than a double it would have been fine.
